How does this player compare to the x1 1st gen and the xduoo x3 as I plan to get my younger brother an dap this Christmas .

I only need to know how do they compare in sound quality.

Compare to X1:
- smaller
- IMHO better SQ
- less powerful
- have (great) bluetooth/doesn't have LO
- X1 is easier to use with physicals buttons

I don't like the X1's soundstage (HO): enough large, too deep. Seems to be in a corridor.

I would have gotten the ap60 right away but the lack of Lo is making me reconsider.

Currently I'm leaning towards the xduoo x3. It seems to be the best choice atm.

Just announced on the Hidizs website:  1.01 Beta is out.  My AP60 is still in the pipe from Massdrop with no ETA.  But, you guys who have one, can't wait to hear what they have updated.  USB digital out would sure be nice!
