I'm curious...what level do most of you listen to your AP60 on (on average) using IEMs and unamped. Anybody??

With Monk+, i use volume at level 40 around with low gain setting.

Has anyone tried using micro usb otg+usb to 3.5 mm jack for connecting walnut and hidizs ap60? I don't know if it'll work or not

I am not getting, Micro USB to 3.5 mm ?
One side is digital and other side is analog. What are you trying to achieve ? Please elaborate your requirements !

It was good and loud, power enough to drive HD650 nicely :)

That's good to hear...I was a bit concerned about what some people described as relatively weak output power but it sound like it will be fine. Thanks

I listen at around 23-25 high gain. Depending on iem, if i use Havi B 3 have to increase bit more.

That sounds pretty normal to me 23-25 on high gain. I have heard the Havis are a little harder to drive so I guess that's the reason you have to increase the volume but I probably won't be using any hard to drive IEMs with it. I think it will be good...looking forward to getting it and Wednesday! Thanks for your reply!

Wow! that's half the volume isn't it? It has 80 steps right? Are they hard to drive?

May be my ear is sensitive and also i enjoy listening to music at low volumes... yes it has 80 steps, but for HD650 i had to use High gain

I'm guessing it wouldn't work. I plan to use Ap60 as source to walnut but using 3.5mm would be double amping.

You can use that way, i tested this yesterday, even it will be double amping, but who cares :D if it sound good !

Oh right 40 on low gain so on high gain that might be 25 maybe...but like I said to another person on here it sounds like it's got plenty of power for IEMs and I won't be using very sensitive ones with it.
