With the Alcantara, scratches are the least of your worries I assume.
It’s the sweat/oils, lint etc. If not careful, you’ll have added an extra dimension to the DAP (smell).

Anyways official announcement is 2 days away. Let’s see.

This DAP really checks all the boxes of what I expect from a portable audio device and I'm really interested, I just hope the sound isn't too cold/analytical.

Regarding the Alcantara controversy, I think it will not be a problem since the vast majority will use the device with the case on

I think it just takes time for units to reach reviewers and/or customers
