Try to delete user data in Android -> Settings -> Application section. This trick helped me with the same issue.

This update seems like garbage. I managed to get the app to open, but I can't select any tracks. I can select an artist and album, BUT when I select a track NOTHING happens.

Sticking with the original beta and ignoring the "upgrade" popup for now.

That's all up to HiBy guys. It's in work and hopefully will be out soon.

Opened HiByMusic beta and it told me there was an update. Installed it, now it crashes every time I open it.

Tried on my other phones and it crashes on all three (Axon 7, Nexus 6P and LG G5).

Yes, unfortunately that's my experiecne too with latest HiBy link app version, but they are working on fixing it soon.

I've been able to install and run HiBy Link on my Google Nexus 7 (2013) tablet, but the app does not work in Landscape mode.
I tried using the 3C Toolbox Pro app, to enable rotation of HiBy Link, but the app crashes if it's rotated to Landscape.

@Joe Bloggs is a developer at HiBy, and is aware of the Landscape crash issue.
I think they may be trying to get the main functionality of the app working, and released - before working on odd bugs like this, that only affect Landscape mode.

Well, beta has some strange problems, it also differes a lot between versions of android. Hopefully final app will have all of this worket out

I'm actually running the last version of CyanogenMod 13 (based on Android 6.0.1) that's available, on both my phone (Nexus 5) and tablet (Nexus 7 (2013)).
I chose not to update to Android 7, since Xposed Framework hasn't yet been released for rooted Android 7 devices.

Well, for example, on my tablet running 5.0 Android, HiBy link app keeps crashing, while my colleageus have no problem at all. Android is sometimes so random...

I was about to respond to @Shanling's post if the issues wouldn't be solved with the official hiby link release added in the latest M2s FW 2.1.
Seems not.

Anyway... I'll give it a try on my Samsung tab once the M2s has arrived.

The app on beta works relatively well on my Moto G4 (latest Android) but now the app doesn't even launch. Arggg.
