I tried on some HF2 and i notice that the bass had no punch at all. Im worried that if i buy the HF5 it will be the same. I might just go for the ER4P or the Klipsch X10, but i dont have alot of info about them. Also i heard that the Klipsch X10 are around 200$ in amazon, but when i checked its around 280$??

if bass is important go with the x10

If the bass is not present enough in the HF2, then you can draw away from the Etymotic scene. X10 would be the better choice.

hf2 and hf5 are same bar the 2 has a mic. the ert er4 sint going to have much if any more bass than they do so if thats what your concerned about go with the x10

unless you want to amp them, etys vastly improve with a little amping, and something like a fiio E5 with a bass boost button could give you ety clarity with dollop more bass than usual

Have never heard the X10 but a $99 HF2 at amazon paired with a T4 should give plenty of bass punch, at least that is what I find with the HF2+T4

I paid just over $200 a couple of weeks ago, on Amazon marketplace. They are listing at $279 at the moment. But if you can get them for $200 you are doing pretty well I think. I read in another thread that someone got theirs for $187 in a short term sale.

yeah, it was 187 with FSSS on amazon. I was so tempted
