Hi, I've been reading Head-fi for a few months already and found the information extremely helpful. Based on excellent reviews here I have recently bought a Mojo and Oppo PM-1s. The Oppos are still on their way, but I've already received my Mojo. I've used it with my Macbook Pro and my iPhone, and my P7s. (It sounds amazing btw)

I've encountered two problems, and highly appreciate your input:

1) When streaming Spotify/Tidal from iPhone (though the camera USB adapter) I only get a 44KHz sample rate into Mojo, regardless of the sample rate of Spotify/Tidal. Is there any way around this? I really like Spotify and Tidal, and I'm not planning to build a library of hifi music.

2) When streaming from my Mac, I've adjusted Mojo's sample rate in my Mac to 192k or 768k (in Audio MIDI setup). However, when I do this Mojo always lights up with the corresponding sample rate (192k or 768k), regardless of the sample rate of the source. What quality am I really getting?

Apologies if these two questions are addressed elsewhere, I've searched hard and haven't found the specific answers. Many thanks in advance!!!

Oi, tudo bem? :)

Welcome to the forum. I use the Mojo with my P7s too and love the combination. Unfortunately the iPhone output is locked at 44.1k. Nothing you can do to improve it. I switched to PC the last year but from what I remember with my 2015 iMac, you'll have to tinker with the streaming settings inside Tidal to make sure the Mojo is playing native sample rates.

Sorry I can't be more helpful but I'm sure someone else will chime in. Alternatively, I think you'll have more success posting in the Mojo thread directly. A lot of knowledgeable people there.

cathee, tudo bom!

Many thanks for your prompt reply. It essentially confirms my fears about the iPhone imitations (it's amazing how Apple strives to makes its customers life unnecessarily difficult with things such as this one, cable compatibility, etc). I'll to as suggested on the Mac thing. Again, many thanks.
