Hi everyone. I'm currently in the process of deciding whether or not to use a Digizoid ZO2 amp (when I get it in the near future) to dual amp the source to my headphones . My proposed setup would be like this:
Source(Laptop through usb out)---->Fiio E7---->Digizoid ZO2.3--->Headphones(Sennheiser HD 380 Pro's/Shure SE215 IEM's)
The reason I am double-amping in the first place is that I heard that the ZO2 is mainly for bass and that it would give my music some more oomph while the Fiio E7 is just an all around good and balanced headphone amp. My questions are:
Are there any issues with using a setup like this?
When using analog out on a source portably, like my phone, should I put the Fiio E7 first, or the Digizoid ZO2 first?
Pros/Cons of using this setup?
Do full size headphones/iem's react differently when using a setup like this?
Thanks guys for the help.
