Both Beyers are easily driven, but the T50p is the easier to drive as it is designed for portable use.  I'm not sure you'll like the DT770s due to the fact that they are very large headphones, but they are an excellent option nontheless.

I read in many posts here than it is not super easy to drive the 32 ohm Beyer DT770 due to their low sensitivity and that they need an amp with high current. I am also not sure if I would like their bright presentation. I think I will go with the SHURE 750s.

If you go with the 750DJs make sure you burn them in for at least 30-50 hours. When I got mine and listened to them right out of the box I thought they sounded pretty weak, but they've had about 70 hours of burn in now and they sound great.

Just saw the 750s in ebay for 129.00 with free shipping. Placed an order. Hope they are not fake. Thanks. I did not like my ATH-M50s before the burn-ins. They sounded very harsh and the bass was also not controlled and bloated. After about 100 hrs of burn in they sounded sweet.
I will do the same with the Shures.

My 2cents
If you already like AT signature (generally bright cans).  Stick with AT.  If you wanted a portable use I suggest ES series or look for the A series (+1K) for more critical listening.

I brought an ES7 for portable use after hooked on to the M50 signature but founded the M50 to be superior--ES7 folds flat and fit in my brief perfectly.  I brought the ES7 just because the ES10 isn't available anywhere near--actually I'd probably sell both ES7 and the M50 if I can get my hand on the ES10 which should be better than the M50.   Also, I'm deviating toward the DT990 + K702 (also bright cans) for my OTL headphone amp. for home listening.

Finally bought these ..
1. Shure SRH750DJ
2. Denon AH-D1100
3. FIIO E7
4. FIIO E5
5. FIIO L3

I will return one of the headphones (the one I like less of course). Also considering purchasing a pair of Senn HD650s soon for home use.
Hope the FIIO E7 will be able to drive them.
Will sell my ATH-M50s after I do a comparison of the three headphones.
