Hello everyone. My wife is interested in some everyday use headphones. She is not an audiophile but does want something better than the Apple earbuds that come with an iPhone. Full size headphones are too big for her and slide off of her head. In ear monitors are not comfy to her and hurt her ears. I am thinking about a "walkman" style headphone. I am thinking about more old school or traditional items such as the Koss Porta Pro or the Sennheizer PX100. I would like your thoughts and advice. I am very out of date with audio gear and many of the newer brands I have not even heard of. My wife would be using the headphones mainly from a laptop or iPhone. Watching movies, playing games, streaming Pandora and Apple Music. She heard my Grado SR225s and loves the sound but she has to move them forward or wear a hat to leep them on her head. I'll tell ya, the Koss Porta-Pro is lovely. Comfortable for a couple hours, pretty light, cheap.

Not ideal if she wants to use them on a bus, or in a noisy office.

PX100 are out of production. Breaks my heart.

Perhaps earbuds. Earbuds can be more comfortable to wear than IEMs. Their sound quality has improved a lot in recent years. And it's hat-friendly.
