Looking to replace my K702 with a sealed can. I really like the K702 (I'm keeping my K701) and althugh I don't need the same sound sig, I'd like to stay within the same league of mid-higher end. Thus I'm not interested in a Senn HD280pro for example. I'd also like the price to be similar to my K702, so roughly $200-400 or so depending on new/used.

Here's a few I came up with so far:

Audio Technica A900LTD, A1000, W1000, W1000X, W100, the rest are too expensive
Beyerdynamic DT770 of various models
Denon D2000
Sony CD3000
Shure SRH840
Various Ultrasone that don't really excite me..... should they?

Am I missing anything? Keep in mind the price, and the fact that I'm strictly talking sealed full size cans.

Since you need closed cans , you should remove d2000 from your list. Denons have complete opposite sound signature to k701 and dont isolate at all ( digitalized vs natural ). Denons are best with games and movies where k701 IMO sucks.....
You should add akg k271 mkII to your list, which are pretty similar to k701 sound signature with smaller soundstage and great isolation.

Consider Fischer Audio's FA-003 as well. Great sealed cans!

I disagree with loopfreak, since sound signature isn't important, keep the D2000 on your list. They don''t Isolate entirely, no phone does, but they do an OK job. Have you looked at/heard the Sony MDR-V6? It's been around for years, is closed and sells new for around $70. It could be an inexpensive alternative for you.

Beyer DT770/600 perhaps? I'd look into the Beyer DT250 as well.
