The UE's stick out, but just a little bit more than the other IEMS (there are a couple of threads on that, with helpful pictures -- that guy did a good job).
Have you priced the Westone UM2's? I have the Shure E3C's, but from what I've read, you'd want to consider the E4C's over the ones I have.
