  This apparently is out already and so I can't help but think is perfect timing in your case. No reviews yet obviously but with the pedigree is definitely worth waiting a bit for.

I saw this on the net last week. I have been debating it. However a few years ago I was thinking of replacing my Mark Levinson mono block amps and demoed a pair of Pass XA200.5 monoblocks. I thought the bass was soft and I sent them packing. I don't know if for this application they are better than any of the other s/s state amps mentioned above or not.

+1 for GSX-Mk2 BUT it will tell you how your source sounds in very clear terms. It doesn't coat anything ... it will reveal everything. If the source sounds great the GSX will amplify just that. If anything is wrong it will also amplify that.

I would sell you my Peak/volcano half off. I can personally attest to it sounding great with He1k's. If it weren't for the build quality of the he1k's I would have kept it.
