Help me I'm desperate for a USB device that can send via TOSLINK 5.1 content to a receiver from my computer.

My computer has no optical out. My motherboard before had it, but not this one. Big mistake.,
As far as I can tell my Denon is not sending video of any kind, since it had an accident, I was moving from São Paulo to Maceió and the moving truck tumbled over. And even if it was fine, I doubt its HDMI out could send HDMI 2.1 signal. It's only HDMI 1.4a, just checked.

Some motherboards come with S/PDIF (optical/coaxial) connection, but does not come with the backplate or optical port.

As a computer technician, I'd say your best bet is to do research and find a PCIE sound card with SPDIF output which has no signal delay AND supports the output formats you're searching for. There are lots of options. In future though, it's always best to get motherboards that include SPDIF out as those tend not to have any delay and good format support especially on a high grade motherboard. I wouldn't recommend a USB>SPDIF converter as that's going to junk up the signal unless you get a really good one and a sound card is a more cost effective route.
I would love to do that, but my graphics card hogs all the space on my motherboard and I can't connect anything else to it =(

Checked the manual, the Gigabyte B650m Gaming X AX does not come with S/PDIF optical connection.
So I guess the connection you will be using is USB.

Yeah I def checked. Something just came accross my mind tho.....
If my brother is bringing stuff from the US........ might as well just bring me a better motherboard, then I'll have TOSLINK out on my motherboard, more M2 slots, better mobo, access to more expansion slots.....

I'm a little late to this and maybe you've found a solution, but...

Have you tried configuring the Advanced Sound Settings on the TV? Most TVs allow for manual sync adjustment for external speakers.

If you have a "bypass" setting, you could turn that off and try to turn the sound/audio delay down 300 milliseconds and seeing if that solves your issue (without having to mess around with more equipment and cables!).
