Help me get into some Math-Rock?

Im not sure I even know what it is, but id liek to try it out.
Good album to intro me to the genre?
 
Also, is Foals or Battles considered math rock?

Foals?  No way.  Hella would be math rock.

Really gotta vouch for 65DaysOfStatic...
That being said they're the only post-rock / math rock group I really enjoy, anyways.

I think these there can be a good introduction to math rock
 
Battles : mirrorred, drop gloss
Hella : There's No 666 In Outer Space (a most accessible album from them)
Giraffes?giraffes! : any of their albums
 
If you like foals try fang island
 
others : Don Caballero, Lite, Zack Hill.

They are incredibly talented and clever. I know one of the guitarists, guy is funny as hell, haha. Sadly, I don't know any bands similar to it that actually sing.
