Im not sure I even know what it is, but id liek to try it out.
Good album to intro me to the genre?

Also, is Foals or Battles considered math rock?

    Really digging Antidotes...

Not an expert on math rock, but as it goes I like Three Trapped Tigers, Numbers: 1-13 - I'd recommend that one.

Antidotes is amazing top to bottom.
I'm bringing you an Ecuadorian band, imaging mixing Foals and electronic Radiohead. This will blow you away...

    Macho Muchacho

    Tropicalia Super Stereo

    Nunca Me Gustó Salinas

    You will love it.

Foals?  No way.  Hella would be math rock.

Dismemberment Plan... huh.  I guess so.  I like them.

Antidotes is pretty Math Rock to me. Dismemberment Plan is pretty good, too.

    Really gotta vouch for 65DaysOfStatic...
That being said they're the only post-rock / math rock group I really enjoy, anyways.

Here's links to their albums on BandCamp, & I'll also link to what I think are their best songs (off YouTube)

I think these there can be a good introduction to math rock

    Battles : mirrorred, drop gloss
Hella : There's No 666 In Outer Space (a most accessible album from them)
Giraffes?giraffes! : any of their albums

If you like foals try fang island

others : Don Caballero, Lite, Zack Hill.

These guys are incredible. Now all I need is the above...with vocals. :)

They are incredibly talented and clever. I know one of the guitarists, guy is funny as hell, haha. Sadly, I don't know any bands similar to it that actually sing.
