I'm looking for the right noise canceling headphones.
I have Postural Orthostatic Tachyardia Syndrome, and I'm going to a clinic in Texas next month to try and get better. I'm going on amtrak, and one the affects of my condition is that my nervous system is very sensitive to sound such as vacuums, and I'm assuming trains. I think I'm going to need noise canceling headphones, I'm considering the Bose Quite Comfort and The Beats Studio headphones. The only thing is that long term I don't think noise cancellation is a feature I will care about (i think I'll get better at the clinic) and since I'm spending $300 on headphones I want them to be great audio and maybe even a bit fashion wise. How bad are the Studio Headphones noise cancellation? And how good is the Bose Quite Comfort audio? And can you turn the noise canceling feature off on either of them? Or do you have a better recommendation? Thanks
