Pro 750 or the 780???
 
99% hip hop rap music.
 
I am a music producer but I listen more than I produce. I travel a lot on planes, etc...

The Pro 750s are more balanced than the 780s which I find to be more aggressive. The 750s are still very engaging though. The Pro 750 is essentially an all around more refined version of the 780. I'm not sure of the isolation of each but it seems adequate when I listen to my 750s.

750's are definately more balanced from what I have read. Don't really know much else about them.

I'll recommend the Pro750's since I have those, but the isolation is rather weak on planes/car rides. You might want to get some iems for that purpose

In that case, I think I might get the 780 because I've read that the isolation is great and it has minimal sound leakage

I felt the pro 750 pads are more comfy if that matters to you.

Well, that matters, but I will be wearing the cans in public so I think the 780 looks better

You can also grab a set of beyer pads to help with the comfort of the 780s.

Yeah, I found the Beyer pads definitely made them more tolerable. Not comfortable in my case.

So I need some clarification, Beyer pads are the pads from the 750?

You'll be wanting the Beyer DT250 pads if I'm not mistaken. You can find them here. The DT770 pads will fit but you'll have to do some modding IIRC.
