I currently have the closed headphones HD 25-1 II and I liked them but I would like to try out open headphones for more details and soundstage.
I've been researching and found the HD598 and HD600 as a viable choice. However, even though the 600s are more expensive it seems like some people prefer the 598s.
Please help me choose, which one should I buy?      Thanks

 
 
Edit: I have a Xonar STX soundcard with headphone amp that supports up to 600 ohms, more than enough to drive the HD600 which uses 300 ohms impedance.
