Looking for a home amp to effectively drive some AKG K702s. I am considering the Heed CanAmp, Bada HP-12, Millett Hybrid MiniMax or possibly something else. I listen primarily to Jazz and some Classical. Total cost of amp must be $500 or less.

Still well within your budget (there really aren't many $500+ DIY amps, and I only use DIY amps with the exception of the Melos) : M^3, SOHA+JISBOS, SOHA2
