Hey guys, just need a little bit of your time =)

I'm going to get a desktop rig for the first time, and I think I got it down, but I want to clarify with the experts first before I make the actual purchases.

My desktop rig would be:
MacBookPro > mini toslink - toslink optical cable > DACmagic > dual RCA - dual RCA cable > Matrix M-Stage AMP > 3.5mm mini > DT880/600Ohm

Would this setup work? It's my first time figuring out all this connections.

Does the toslink optical output from the MacBookPro bypass the sound card? That's very important to me as it's the only reason I'm getting the DACmagic..

Is the toslink optical output to the DACmagic the best SQ connection that I can get?

Thank you all very much in advance!
