Hey guys,
 
I just got an E7 and hooked it up to my laptop via usb, but for some reason when I set the default format in my playback devices (Windows 7), I get a lot of noise/static to the point where any sound is VERY distorted when I set it to 16 bit, 44100Hz (CD Quality). The E7 only works properly when set a step down, at 16bit, 32000Hz. Does anyone know why this is? Is this normal?

Your audio driver might have corrupted. Try going into system manager and uninstall the driver, unplug than replug the E7 back and allows the driver to be reinstall itself. If the same problem persists, you should try the E7 on another PC to see if it has the same problem or now. If not, then the problem lies in your PC. If yes, you might have to exchange the E7.
