The extended delay is strange. I am sure it has more to do with it than just tooling. Nowadays, even the most intricate tooling leadtimes rarely go beyond 12 weeks....and we are talking IEM's here, not atom splitters. Aren't we coming up on a year from the original release date?

It is a week after Ray Samuels Jr. posted the preview of Westone 4, which is about a month after the release of SR-71 MKIV

I believe he was referring to the Guns & Roses album, not the actual state of democracy in China, which would undoubtedly happen first.
