I found these while searching on Amazon: "LyxPro HAS-30 Professional Over-Ear Studio Monitor Headphones with Detachable Cable, for Recording, Mixing, DJ & Music Listening"
http://www.amazon.com/LyxPro-HAS-30-Professional-Headphones-Detachable/dp/B018Y5CVO0

Apparently their office is in NJ but I don't see more info on the website:

I'm not sure if they are really new or what but I don't see anything about these on the net other than the 4 five star Amazon reviews there and I'm curious if anyone on head-fi has tried them.

I stubled across them on Amazon as well, and I guess they're just very new. I can't find any discussion on the internet other than your post here. I'm familiar with a lot of headphones, and the HAS-30 don't look immediately like a rebrand of something else. I find the glowing reviews somewhat suspicious... I wonder if they're all Amazon Vine member reviews?

Not sure about the plastic use... but the pads look comfy and they are priced quite well... might have to try them... :xf_eek:

These seem to be rebranded isk mdh9000: http://world.tmall.com/item/526452241675.htm?spm=a312a.7700714.0.0.H4Ah7m#detail
I wonder how they hold up sonically to other budget Chinese cans from Takstar, Somic or Superlux. They please me in the aesthetic department for sure.

Looks like MCM also sells it under their house label, Stellar Labs:

For that price, I figured they're worth a shot. Just got them, first impressions are that the bass can be a bit overwhelming with some music at higher volume levels (bass lovers might like that about them, I prefer a more neutral headphone0. At lower volume levels, they're good headphones, especially for the price.
