as i just received my fiio e10 i discovered the hrt headstreamer and since i have the hrt msII (and love it). im wondering if it would be worth it to return the fiio e10 and purchase the headstreamer as my dedicated headphone amp?

You have a good dac, so why are you looking to buy amp/dac, when all you need is an amp.

I use the hrt msII with my powered speakers. is there a way i can use them with my speakers and an amp?

If your speakers already have an amp then its just a matter of using the audio out for either headphone amp or speakers.
Else you can go for a power amp that also has headphone out.
