Curious what headphones that sound like the K550 but better?

I do like the neutral sound and soundstage that they offer for a closed set.

Sadly, I will need to send my K550 in for a repair but don't want to be left with a pair of crappy headphones for awhile so i'm looking for something.

My source is a Audinst HUD-MX2

I'll consider open options as well but closed is better for my use.

Any Ideas?

Shure SRH940. More 3d Soundstage with better pinpoint accuracy, detail monster, deeper going sub bass, no itchy treble spikes as on the akg. sound signature is pretty similar though.

Shure SRH940 has worse bass extension and substantially worse distortion. I'd choose a different headphone to replace the K550.

that is simply nonsense. have you heard both at the same time? graphs are one thing. reality is the other.

Graphs are from machines that lack expectation bias and placebo that humans possess. However due to our ears' unique shapes and sizes, we can hear slightly different. However, graphs has 99.9% coincided with what I've heard.
