I am searching for the best headphone that fits my need: under 1.5k usd (used included), good at mids, especially male vocals.
I currently use focal elear, I think it sounds sweet when paired with melos sha-1 amp with amprex orange globe tubes. However, I hope the sibilance could be reduced a bit sometimes. The sibilance level of elear is just on the edge of my tolerance. While I enjoyed the tight bass and overall musicality of the elear, I hope the sibilance can be a bit less.
I have owned and enjoyed he6 and hd650 before, both of them provides good mids to my ears, only the hd650 is a bit veiled and he6 can be "u-shape" sometimes.
How is the ether flow (open) compared to the headphones above? Anyway, I need suggestions for good mids headphone.
