So I recently got ATH-M50 and they are great except one issue, I sometimes need to use voice chat, the problem with this is I tend to scream into my microphone... So I looked around and turns out I guess I should have bought open headphones. So the question is is it worth exchanging these for a pair of open headphones, and if so which ones?

Dude, just stop screaming and trust yourself that you are actually making noise when you move your lips. I used to have a mic for when I played CS, but I got used to not hearing myself, and I think you can set it to where it'll play your own voice into the headphones.

Open headphones won't solve the issue entirely, I've let someone else try my headphones and while they were giving me my thoughts on the sound they were yelling, and the T1 are open.  You just need to adjust to it.
