I have a Status CB-1 I was given for free. It has no bass in one ear. We looked at the electrical wiring and it appears fine. Could it be a damaged driver?
Are you able to swap the cable around? In other words move the left channel to the right? It's probably a damaged blown driver. Do you notice distortion?I have a Status CB-1 I was given for free. If you looked at the wiring and it's fine, then it's not faulty. You can rule that out. Other things you could try are swapping the earpads, earpads can affect the sound adversly. make sure there are no loose/missing screws in the diaphragm that holds the drivers in place. I have a feeling that you have simply a defective pair. But just to make sure can you name me songs where you hear the bass "only in one ear"?
