It's very nice. And great for people transitioning to speakers.
We have discovered 99% of 300B amps here. It's extremely rare for a new undiscovered amp to be post here.

Well, we could branch out and tackle multi-stage DHT amps with 300Bs in the second stage feeding something even bigger.

I would love to try this one day, the Rhapsody 300B integrated speaker amp from Trafomatic Audio. Too bad only 15 pieces are made, retails for about $19k. Delivers 2x20W of power, probably one of the most powerful single ended 300B amp.

Very pretty. However, do we want to limit the new list to higher power designs which still retain headphone outs?

Just a basic question from someone with no tube experience trying to make sense of your "tubey" language, words, abbreviations...
Considering I don't intend using speakers (speaker/poweramp), only HPs.
Would following make "sense"... if so what would that be?
Going with a preamp (supratek) into Oor in power amp mode instead of a dedicated HP tube amp like Envy?

Is it just about less (pre) and more (dedicated HP amp) tube characteristic?

I don't quite get why folks f. e. use a Serene in front of a Bliss over in the "Holosphere"... (unless they have speaker, right)

A Serene in front of a Bliss doesn't make sense.

A tube pre in front of a Bliss/OOR/CFA3/whatever does though, if you want to add some tube character to the sound

Usually less amplification stages is better than more, so if the pre doesn't add anything like tube flavor, remote control or finer volume adjustment it's better to leave it out

I started to entertain one idea... again... Tu be or not Tu be.
Where to go from Oor/Hypsos when the intention is aiming for audio nirvana! (to make not one small, but a giant leap. Not for mankind, for one man, being me, right?).
Read Fidelios review again came over here, envious from that other thread.
Where this man from the paradoxical land of DHT lead me to supratek.

I like Mick M.'s presentation of his/their amps.

So I theoretically, probably impossible to achieve, want to get a good Idea of which would be a "better" solution...

Sell OOR, get Envy or add a pre instead?
A pre into OOR in power amp mode would leave one practically with two amps!

So how close would one get achieving a Envy/Woo 22/V 16 experience with a great dedicated pre into Oor? theoretically...
