Thanks for reply and advise. Its finding one over there though and then getting to it first, and even then a lot of people would take the easy option of shipping to someone in the states b 4 messing around with shipping to U.K. what about buying new from the states can you point me in the right direction (willing dealer) also what are your veiws on these LX20 valve they are supposed to up it to 20 watt poss better for the speaker side.

As far as I know, Upscale Audio is probably the best Cary dealer around. You can check their web site here

Sound by Singer also sells them, but I don't like the guy, so I'd be hard pressed to recommend him, but you can check them out if you want as well. Click here

The 300SEI runs about $4,500 new. My personal preference would be to buy it used especially since you would probably not get the warranty with it if you were to buy it from the States.

I'm not familiar with the LX20 tubes.
