Get this. I have 3. I like them. For $9 plus shipping you can't go wrong. Just get rid of the hook and hang the headphones on top of it.

i have one of these and it's not perfect. the top is a bit too sloped to be perfectly stable...so i actually stuck one of those e-grips things there to prevent the headphone from sliding down...

Why the heck does Sennheiser ship the HH10 with 595s but not 650s?

Hey thanks for that idea.
When I read this I realized that my uncle could build me a headphone stand!
He is a master carpenter so it won't be too hard for him

Hmm.. I could also work out my own design, tomorrow at school I will think about this a bit.

Glad I could help.
There's a lot of threads of people who have built their own stand. Search around for some design ideas. Go nuts with it.

AND DON'T FORGET TO POST PICTURES!

Sven, my long lost nephew, is that you?

If you offer to help he may be even more inclined, or maybe not depending on how many questions you ask.

It might be fun for you too though.
I'd love to have someone to pass my knowledge on to. Not too many kids are interested in the service fields today though.

Why would we want to bother the uncles when we can buy a banana stand for $10. If I want to bother my uncles, I'd ask them to turn me some Grado or AT cups for my cans.

BTW, thanks to the posts on Senn HD10. I've just placed an order.

Ok, I'll post pictures when I get it!

I think I'm going to help my uncle, at least with the design and choice of wood and that stuff

Because the banana stand, albeit it quick, practical, and cheap, is UGLY.

Because it's an Uncles job to pester the heck out of you when you're young. When you get older it's your job to repay the favor.

Here's the Sennheiser stand:

And here's one of the banana stand. It's made out of some nice wood. I wouldn't say it's ugly, but it's not perfect.

My pleasure! I really like mine! Having it right there eliminates fumbling when I want to take the 595's off in a hurry.

Where can we order the bracket from? It just so happens that due to my limited desk space, I can't place an actual stand anywhere, but I can definitely clip a bracket onto the edge of my desk.
