Hi there,

Being doing some research on this web, realise that such a thread was not made before.

As the title suggested, I would like all of your to contribute the place/shop in your area/country whereby they allow headphone audition.

I believed it will be useful especially when I travel oversea, so that I know where are the places I can visit and get my gear if needed.

Let me start the ball rolling,

In Singapore,

Better to write the info down incase Head-Fi ever crashes again and the links dont point to that post anymore. I know its more work, but if we crashed tomorrow, people wouldnt have the info right here in text to refer to, just broken links.

Not much in Glasgow.

The following have listening posts where you can just walk in and listen out of ipods.

The Apple Store, Buchanan St, Glasgow - B&W P5, Bose QuietComfort and Around-Ear, Dr Dre Beats, Sony MDR NC-60 and some Sennheisers. There is a preference towards Noise Reduction headphones from each model range.

John Lewis, Buchanan Galleries, Glasgow - Denon AH D1001, JVC HA S150BN, SonyMDR V300DJ

PC World, Braehead, Renfrew - Sennheiser HD201/202, Denon AH D501

The following has headphones you can arrange to audition -

Loud&Clear, St Vincent St, Finnieston, Glasgow - various Sennheiser, BeyerDynamic and Grados. Goldring also have them as a stockist.

Audio Merchants, Howard St, Glasgow - lower end Grados, and they advertise the Sennheiser HD800s, but I have not seen them in the shop.

Guess you refer to me.
All external links, but I agree that having it in here is easier. So will update my post.

No worries

I just thought it would be good for the future in case of a crash, and also if someone looks it up while traveling with an iphone or blackberry etc.
Youre always a help.
