Good day all
Hope everyone is well!

Does anyone know where I can get headphones recabled in Aus? I've heard of Double Helix and Lawton Audio, but they are based in the US. I'm looking to shorten the cords of a Denon AH-D2000, or have them recabled (if I did what would be some good options at a relatively modest price?)

I don't know of anyone really - closest I've come is reportedly Carlton Audio Prestige outsource
their headphone repairs to a guy who personally owns over 100 pairs.

Check out their site, give them a call and see what happens.

Hey Mr Adrian, do you have their website? The only twisted cables I could find is a Chinese company...

Hey Gwarmi, did you mean Carlton audio video? Looks promising, cheers!!

Yep sure did on Lygon St ~ I spoke to some long haired hippie dude in his 50's when I picked up my K601's
a long, long time ago. Anyway I asked about recabling and he mentioned this mythical 100-headphone
guru who supposedly services all their headphones. I'd give them a ring and see, an email might not
be enough with this sort of request.

My own Revox 3100 (80's DT880 beyer OEM) has started having cable issues....

No one actually ended up posting results in the search for a recabler!!

Another bump on this thread yet again. I have a pair of Denon AHD-7000 with twisted cables, which are now unlistenable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
