Hey all,

So I'm looking to start recabling headphones, that don't have detachable connectors. I've read a lot of threads about strain relief

1. Zip tie
2. knot
3. glue gun
4. epoxy
5. adhesive heat shrink
6. grommet
7. combo of the above

however Moon audio uses strain relief much similar to stock strain relief. Any idea on where to get it?

Also the mouser grommits (http://www.mouser.com/catalogviewer.aspx) or the 3m ones, can anyone comment on which size they bought?  Thanks!

I would be very interested in getting some similar to stock (i.e the Moon Audio ones). I hope to try a Beyer DT770 dual entry recable, so re-using the stock one won't work as there is only one

Any tips on where to find them?

Any helpful links to strain relief would be appreciated. I bought a solder gun and still have a ways to go but some reading material on soldering would be helpful to me. A lot of this stuff is unfamiliar to me, electrical engineering class kicked my ass.

Thanks,

Austin
