Hi, everyone.
I need a headphone (over the head) to be used with my notebook (HP DV2000). Better not over $150. Direct connection without AMP.
Movies, classical and pop music. So general style will be great.

Audio Technica AD700. They're incredibly with movies and those quoted genre's, plus they're very comfy.

Since they're open, you won't want them if you prefer not to have leaking sound.

How about M1 and Grado S80?
By the way, I have a private room, so I don't worry about leaking sound.

grado is not really suited for movies, and because it's a laptop, portable and all, if you use it in noisy environments, it's better to take a closed one.
I hear the dt770 is around 120 at amazon?
...
private room? senn hd555 (hd595 at $180?) is nice with movies etc and you are probably able to hear them somewhere nearby.
