Headphone Dilemma 650s/AKG701s/D2000

If you like the brightness of HD595, I don't think you will like the HD650 because the brightness is not there. And for your information the DT880 needs a good amp too. It's quite similar to the K701, so instead of getting a phone maybe you should get an amp?

The lack of bass on the 701s has nothign to do with the amp. The 701s go low, but have no bass presence.

Between those 3 headphones, with no amp I'd get the ATH-ESW9
