My first time here, so be gentle. I am working on setting up a system for use exclusively at home. My music choice is classical chamber music, small group jazz (50's cool jazz), and female vocals with small ensemble backing (Nora Jones, Holly Cole, Joni Mitchell, etc...) My music source will be cd's at,or near, demonstration quality (especially the classical). I am leaning towards the Cambridge Audio Azur 351 C CD player;the Shiit Asgard headphone amp. 
I need help on the headphone choice, under $400. preferably. This would put me at $1200. which is my absolute maximum, I was shooting for $1000. I want the headphones to be comfortable (long hours of listening) and quiet, there may be a TV in the background sometimes. Most of all they have to sound good with the music I listed.

Take a look at the HD650.  Warm and laid back sound.  Great vocals.  Goes great with classical.  Just over $400 on Amazon.

HD600 has more balanced sound and not laid back sound while HD50 has more bass and laid back sound.
