I have a home music recording studio running off an EMU1616. I would like to feed the output of the 1616 into a headphone amp where I can connect a minimum of two headphones. I'm looking for the best audio quality possible for under $200. What would you recommend?

With whatever amp you could use an adapter. It's not like the dual headphone ports on most amps aren't wired together like that anyway.

Yes, however I need independant volume control for each pair of headphones.

After a good deal of research, here are some models I came up with:

Ahex HeadPod 454
ART HeadAmp 4
ART HeadAmp V
Furman HR-2
PreSonus HP4
Samson C-Que 8

Do any of you have any experience with these models? I know it's a mix of both portable and full size...

Independent volume control means there are simply 2 separate amps in the same box, perhaps consider 2 amps in separate boxes, then you have lots of possibilities.

Well, that or DIY.
