Both myself and others have asked if you will be able to provide the pairs of male/male connectors - any word on that subject?

Justin,

I'm really excited about this DAC! Thanks for the offer to the HF community.

A question: You mention the DAC can be coupled directly to the Gilmore via male/male RCA plugs. However, the design of the DAC in your first post looks like the front face extends fairly far to the right side, accommodating an 1/8" output jack.

If this were put up to the back side of the Gilmore Lite, would it still clear the space required for the power jack and power cable?

Thanks!

The ability to couple the DAC to other amps with male/male RCA plugs is something I only noticed after designing the DAC and I called it a "bonus" feature. You could also call it undocumented, unofficial, and unsupported. It's true on the Gilmore Lite you would hit the power cable, so what you can do is plug the Pico DAC into the Loop Outputs on the Gilmore Lite. They're exactly the same as the inputs, wired in parallel.

There goes another urban myth re "the bonus feature" - assumed it had been planned to be used that way from the beginning. Since I have several amps sitting on my desk and utilize a loop on one amp and a splitter at Juli @ card......." the bonus feature" was a selling point for me. Maybe I'll learn that most marriages end in divorce, and that you can't trust this governmental regime.
