We did a similar donation program after the earthquake/tsunami in Japan 2 years ago, and it was successful, with about $2,000 donated to that cause. I thought it would be a good idea to do this to support those hurt from the Boston marathon bombing on Monday. So from now until the end of April, 10% of HeadAmp sales (not profits, but total sales) will be donated to this cause to a charity to be named, once it becomes apparent who can receive those donations. This applies to HeadAmp amplifiers (including deposits), Audeze, HiFiMAN, and STAX headphones. So on a purchase of a HiFiMAN HE-400, about $40 will be donated. On a STAX SR-009, about $500 will be donated. This will be good thru the end of the month (eastern time) and afterwards I will announce the total amount that is being donated -- and if anyone has suggestions on where to send it before that time, feel free to post here, and it doesn't have to all go to the same place.
