Man, I'd really like to hear these amps. Now in the $10k+ range we have Diy T2, 845 dht, and now grand cayman. All 3 from the photos are pretty huge in size. I forget if there are other amps up in this range.

Any chance there will be loop outs like on the BHSE?

There's spots for up to 2x XLR and 2x RCA pairs; so that could be 1x input of and 1x loop out of each. Or, it could be 2 of each input and no loop outs. Or just 1x XLR and 1x RCA for a simpler switching scheme. Or just 1x XLR for ultimate purity, but that seems unlikely. Just haven't decided yet.

The original idea was 2 of each input and if you needed loop outs they'd have to come from another piece of equipment

We got information that the price of the headamp grand cayman amplifier is 2.5 to 3 times that of bhse.

And they only produce 25 pieces a year. The price is too high, so there will be few users.

I actually don't have a final price yet, either pre-order or final pricing. The cost to build is still TBD.

What we have now is still a prototype but the price will be understood when you lift it out of the crate.

The cost of a CNC machined case is crazy expensive in the US these days.
