[size=medium]HeadAmp Gilmore Lite Amp with Dedicated Power Supply -- Very, Very Limited Edition in Black![/size]
A few weeks ago there was a thread in the Amplification forum expressing interest in a black Gilmore Lite (http://www4.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=203335), an amp that until now has only been available in silver. Seven months before that thread was made, I decided I would offer a black Gilmore Lite with the Dedicated Power Supply as a limited edition amp exclusively for Head-Fi members. I thought that thread was perfect timing -- because they are now available!
There are only 15 sets of this amp available only to those on Head-Fi. I will ship up to 5 per week, starting this week, so that all can arrive before the holidays in the U.S. -- I can make no guarantees on how long shipping will take for international orders. The price for this amp with the dedicated power supply is $499 plus $15 for priority shipping within the U.S.
If you're not already familiar with the Gilmore Lite, it is a discrete solid state design that has a few engineering characteristics found in very few headphone amps -- it does not use op-amps or capacitors in the signal path. Without the use of complex op-amps (which can contain hundreds of transistors per channel compared to the Lite's 16), the signal path of the Gilmore Lite is one of the simplest and most pure. The Dedicated Power Supply takes things further and offers cleaner, faster power than the standard (but still good) power adapter.
