HeadAmp CFA3 Headphone Amp - The Official Thread

I'll be curious to compare this against the Silver Fox. It slayed so many SS amps already including the Holo Bliss and Enleum 23R in our little place. :stuck_out_tongue:
I wasn't impressed by the Silver Fox.

Agreed. It has an imparted warmth that detracts information rather than balancing out with a smoothness of a Bliss.

I've read the KG CFA3 thread from page 1 to ca. 66, only to find out, after being sure I wanted a Dukei build, he stopped making them. Now what? Looked at SF for potential "top" SS HP-amp but no tooo smoooth probably...

Good thing HeadAmp is making a CFA3 that lets you choose between super symmetry and no feedback.

I know and agree that's good news... and the reason for me being interested in it.
Considering getting it over here it probably will be close in € as Niimbus and quite more as HE9 MK3 which is my biggest dilemma.
If folks will be as happy with headamps' version as those with Dukeis' then I could be set for quite somes years.

No-one sells HeadAmp in Europe do they? I had always thought (rightly or wrongly) that it was direct order only?

I know, nagging taxes, all praises due to bureaucracy.
At least headamp covers shipping.

Well if there would be a european dealer for headamp he'd have to charge taxes as well.

I really don't get where this impression comes from that you could avoid paying taxes by having a local dealer...

There can be a wink wink say no more on total value. Cough cough at least in 2016 I noticed it on gsx mk2. Nice break on duty

Duty is painful. I hate paying it.

YOU got the wrong impression. Not the place to really discuss that issue in a meaningful manner. I know how much taxes in total are taken "by legal means" from questionable bureaucrats in our territory. The way commerce is set up is the issue. Pirates ruel on land by maritime law. Avoiding taxes is possible by exercising private commerce. Few realise that and less exercise it. Fewer then folks who never ever wore a mask during "that time".

@Whazzzup
your wink leaves me looking like your dog.

Aiming, hoping for SS amp heads and shoulders above Hypsos/OOR. Besides HM1, I convinced myself Dukeis' CFA3 is that, too late.

So Bliss KTE and Head Amp CFA3 are your options if Oor/Hypsos isn't enough. Mass Kobo and Zahl are just silly money.
