I've read the BHSE gets quite hot, if that is the case would it be OK to have it's PSU positioned close to the side of the Amp section ?

yes, thats fine.  i would leave at least 6" between the enclosures.  the temperature of the power supply will vary depending on your line voltage.  the higher the line voltage, the more heat generated as it has to drop more voltage to regulate.  this is so the power supply can still be regulating even at lower than normal line voltages.

Calculating backwards from the heat it generates, about the equivalent of a nuclear power plant

Thanks Justin,
I'm asking this Justin because where I'm positioning my audio equipment is in an alcove where a fire once was, so if need be I'll be able to get ventilation from the chimney, also I think the two positioned together will look great. I'm really looking forward to hearing the SR-009's driven by the BHSE but I guess I'm going to have to be patient until March, however I placed an order for it last March and that doesn't seem two minutes ago.

Assembly - Week 3

* Laser Engraved all powder coated parts (back panels & amp top panel)
* Further assembly to power supply enclosure
* Began assembly of amplifier enclosure
* Polished/Anodized parts (front panels, knobs, tube rings) arrive tomorrow.  If they are good, they will be laser engraved this weekend.

This will leave about 1-2 more weeks of assembly before Final Assembly can begin on each amp, provided the circuit boards are completed by the outside company doing that work.

Thank you for the update, Justin :)  Getting closer to the time where I need to decide between a quad of Treasure 6CA7 vs. new production Genalex KT77s.  I know the Treasures got a lukewarm review by one person here, but virtually everyone I've spoken to, and impressions/reviews I've read, state that Treasures require a 300hr burn-in and don't sound noteworthy straight out of the box.
