Hey everyone,
I was curious today. Why is swearing on Head-Fi not allowed, and how in the world do you get banned on a sight like Head-Fi?

As we have members from all over the world from many cultures and backgrounds, we like to keep the site family-oriented.  While it may not be a problem for you, many workplaces and even some countries will block a site if it contains content that they consider offensive.  As for your other question, see the appropriate link in my signature.  If you have any further questions along these lines, please send me a private message, as they we don't discuss these things in the forums themselves.
