If you're a frequent Head-Fier (check your Head-Fi frequent Fier miles) you probably use the search function more than the average visitor. We've dramatically improved the search speed. Go ahead and give it a try.

Also, if there are any other slow spots in Head-Fi, please let us know. We spotted one slow spot in the private message area and especially with the search function so we turned a few knobs, pushed a few buttons, and made it faster.

Take care,
Neil

Oh, by the way, I meant to say that the optimizations may be at a price of other things going whacky -- so if you see anything that isn't quite right (delays, errors, etc.) just send those complaints written on the back of a twenty dollar bill and they'll be handled in the order that they were received.

btw, the slowest point of the forum is the edit function. When saving the post, it lasts forever. But it's probably not the most used function.

edit : it was quite fast this time, did you made changes there too ?

"Faster" is an understatement, it's like you added a warp drive to it!
