my friends all think I have miled OCD. I spin pens.....constantly. Sometimes I don't even realize I am doing it. Its quite weird

Perhaps people will disagree with me but if you have OCD or you’re really into tweaking, being an audiophile is lacking and to be honest...... you should have been a musician.
I play guitar and keyboard and being a musician is OCD and tweaking heaven! There is way more flexibility in sounds, tones and music results at your control.
Perhaps a lesson to be learned is that if you have kids, do encourage them to learn to play an instrument. I feel that it’s more rewarding than being an audiophile.
