It makes sense to just ask the OP or mod of the 'New HE-400' thread to change the title to the HE-400 thread. We are already posting on two HE-400 threads, which I find stupid.

I kind of personally never wanted an HE-400 appreciation thread like a lot of the other headphones do on head-fi, it just screams fanboyism or buyer's remorse to me, although I'm being a bit extreme about it.  I think the new denon line had an appreciation thread even before they were officially released :S

Hi, I'm a long-time lurker who has been researching via head-fi.  I found these headphones awhile back, and finally got solid enough gear to warrant buying them.  Now, I finally got them about 3 hours ago. Not even a day in the left side of the split cable dies on me.  Now, I can only hear the right side of the phone.  What should I do??
