hi i am looking for a final setup for my hd 800.
 
at first i wanted to go with anedio d2 dac but they dosent ship to canada.
 
after some search i found the x-sabre dac, was wondering if it would be a good combo. i think i saw some peep say that it might sound too bright.
 
for the amp i will probly go with the wa22 as it seems to pair well.

what do you guy think.

i also saw this dac Mytek Stereo 192 would pair well with hd800?

My buddy works for Mytek.  DSD is very technical stuff, so you should either A) Know what you're doing or B) Be mentally prepared for what you're about to get yourself into

Oh wait, you're just talking about the DAC.  I'm sure it will pair well.

yea the dac, so far im eyeing both x-sabre and mytek just wondering wich 1 would work best with hd800 both can be run balanced wich is what i want
 
i could get x-sabre for 1k while for mytek it would be 1.4k

Good choice on the amp, especially if you get the upgrades and some new tubes.  HD 800 + WA22 = magical.  Not too sure about DAC choices though.  The Audio GD NFB-7 is very highly regarded, sometimes said to be the best ES9018-based DAC out there.

Audio GD NFB-7 look like a good choice as well, ill probably get it.
