which cables are the best considering i want to use a dac and amp with sennheiser hd650s.

considering i would want a dac and small amp that would work with my computer, i have all my cds recorded in apple lossless, which cables should i be looking.
 
 i use the headphones at the moment with a soundblaster xifi gamer ed. on the computer for music, games and movies and watch blurays and play games on my ps3 through the tv. would i need a new soundcard,
 
no one replied in original post, can someone point me in the right direction with some cable suggestions or what not

I'd consider one from Moon-Audio, in particular, the Silver Dragon.

Silver Dragon and Zu Mobius are the ones I consider the best matches for the HD 650, and I slightly prefer the characteristic of the Zu Mobius for its «sharper image». But meanwhile the Silver Dragon recipe has been changed, and from the corresponding HD 800 cable (which I'm enthusiastic about) and the interconnects of the latest generation I guess the new Silver Dragon is just as good a match now, and from what I know it's cheaper than the Zu. It's extremely clear and detailed.

I actually prefer the Silver Dragon to the ALO SXC Cryo and the Silver Dragon is significantly less expensive.

so these are the two that are highly considered some of the best for the hd650s, for a computer amp/dac setup with the ideas for a dedicated amp dac at a later date?  which ones are considered better or are there even better cables for the hd650s.., im after top of the line considering i want to try and get the most out of these headphones

I don't know how much further you can go than a Silver Dragon.
 
You could go higher in price though, in which case, you could try the ALO SXC Cryo cable offered by ALO Audio.

Audio Fidelity seems to make some interesting cables, and they've 40% off this w/end
 
I think the 3000 series is 209.99 for 2 metres. I don't know much about it though

i suppose it depends on what kind of future hardware ild be considering..  the silver dragons v2 [size=x-small]Balanced Sennheiser Version [/size][size=x-small]10ft cables for 300 seem like my first option at this point.. [/size]
 
[size=x-small]th[/size]ese are all specialised cables just want to know if there is some kind of consensus on what the best cables for these headphones are.  pretty much when i got these hd650's these were considered the best stock production open canned headphones, wanting to know which cables are considered the best for them if there is such an option..
 
those audio fidelity descriptions soun like their cables are better then anyones ever and nothing is better then them? same type of pricing but the site has no products on there. 
 
can i get some more feedback on best cables for these hd650's.  the Silver Dragon and Zu Mobius are considered the 2 best cables?  what should my choice be based around between the two?  the audio fidelitys sound amazing too.  are there others that are considered comparable to these. 
 
what im listening to and what kind of hardware will i be listening on in the future should determine my choice here... i need some further help dont want to just buy one of these on a whim.... want to make sure im getting the best possible cable for my headphones, and for me...

I don't think you will find the Cardas a significant improvement over the stock cable.  Silver seems to work better with the HD650.
 
A cable that does not get a lot of press here but one worthy of consideration is the
Enigma Audio line up. I own and like the Oracle S.  Top notch craftsmanship, fair price for the work and great sounding cables.  Less microphonics than the Zu.

because my cables arent working and im going to be buying a dac and amp shortly so might aswell get the good cables now.

are there comparitive reviews between some of these cables... to give me a greater understanding of what im getting and what are some of my other options..
i tried googling but didnt get very far.  lots of 3-4 year old posts about silver dragons and zu mobius.  are they the only top options.. ? are there others that are comparable..?  ive already emailed moon audio and im pretty decided unless some reviews or something can sway me in another direction.  any other options anyone can recommend...

I use a Double Helix Blackout Cable with my HD650s. I am very satisfied with it, and have therefore never compared it to silver cables or other copper equivalents.
